Conclusions :
- Chemical fertilization is most expensive, further harms the soil and produces least yield.
- Bio-chemical fertilization is 40% cheaper than chemical, does less harm to the soil and gives increased yield.
- Organic fertilization is more than 40% cheaper than chemical even with SNS dosages (and therefore costs) 20% above standard, improves soil and gives increased yield.
Remarks :
- The above table only compares the cost of fertilizer and takes no other factors into account.
- SPROUT SSC and SNS must be diluted 1 : 1 000 with water.
- Increasing the dosage of SPROUT will increase the yield, which should outweigh the corresponding increase in cost.

- Price of chemical fertilizer = US$25 per 50 kg
- Price of SPROUT SSC = US$20 per litre (based on 200 L drum price).
- Price of SPROUT SNS = US$20 per litre (based on 200 L drum price).
- Seeding rate : 15 kg per acre
